Dental COHAT

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. Like people, pets need regular dental cleaning to remove plaque and tartar buildup. If not removed, this build up may lead to periodontal disease and more serious health problems.

The first thing that we do is take full dental radiographs. Digital Dental X rays play an invaluable role in diagnosing your pet's dental problems. Without these x rays, we would inevitably miss something important. You would be surprised how many practices still use film or for that matter do not take radiographs at all.  Digital x rays have better resolution, allow us to zoom into parts of the image and even manipulate the image so it is easier for us to see. Add to that the ability to archive in original quality, or to send a perfect digital copy, and you will begin to see why our Digital Radiographs and Digital Dental Radiographs are diagnostic tools that we could never live without! While your pet is under anesthesia we use a modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. We polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments are available to help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity.

Oravet: An amazing product that significantly reduces plaque and tartar formation by creating an invisible barrier that prevents bacteria from attaching to your pet's teeth. We apply an OraVet barrier sealant during your pet's dentistry, and will send you home with 8 gel applications. The home application is simple and only takes seconds to apply!
